Why they choose AP Courses

AP Courses is a place where knowledge turns into success. Our foreign-language courses are built on the latest methods, designed around your goals. Learn English, German or Polish and feel confident on the way to your goal.

With us it's impossible NOT to learn

Our methods guarantee results. We've built an effective course and learning systems that work.

The Close to You format

The teacher is always close by — online lessons use visual, auditory and associative learning methods.

A blended type of learning

A combination of theory, practice and one-on-one classes for effective language learning.

European innovations

Teachers draw on the experience of our partners abroad: 3D models, interactive visualisations and associative memory to help you remember new words and rules better.

Gifts and a motivation system

We run language contests among students, where the best win valuable prizes.

A results guarantee

If after the course you haven't reached the result you wanted and haven't mastered your target language well enough, we'll keep teaching you for free.

How much the courses cost

The price depends on the format and package: group, pair, one-on-one and blended courses, plus separate exam preparation and corporate training. Below is the minimum price of the blended format (the BASIC package) for each language.

The bigger the package and the smaller the group, the more noticeable the difference between options. Exact prices for the STANDART and PRO packages and for one-on-one and group classes are on each language's pricing page.

A0–B2 guarantee

A results guarantee for the PRO package and one-on-one annual courses

The guarantee applies to the PRO package and one-on-one annual courses. If a student meets the study conditions but doesn't reach B2 from A0 within a year, the school teaches them further for free. Not an advertising promise, but a concrete agreement with clear terms.

  • Attend at least 80% of the practical (speaking) classes and at least 80% of the one-on-one classes; anything missed for a valid reason can be rescheduled or made up.
  • Complete at least 80% of the tasks on the platform and stay regularly active.
  • Take the entry test at the start of the course and the final test after it ends.
  • Complete the course within one year; freezing it without prior agreement pauses the guarantee.

How the learning is structured and why it gets you speaking

65% of every class is conversation. Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation don't exist for their own sake, but so the student can speak naturally and confidently. This is the core of the Close to You methodology.

The CEFR levels from A1 to C2 are built with a logic: first basic communication patterns, then a wider vocabulary, then more complex structures — not as rules to memorise, but as tools for real communication. You move to the next level after a test, so the pace depends on progress, not the calendar.

1

It starts with speaking

The student activates what they already know — the class starts with speaking, not theory.

2

Vocabulary and grammar in context

New material appears in real situations, not as separate rules to cram.

3

Speaking on your own

The class ends with a text, a discussion or a role-play — the student speaks for themselves.

4

Homework

It reinforces what you covered on the platform and prepares you for the next speaking task.

Feedback after every class

After each class the teacher tells you what went well and what to work on in pronunciation or grammar. The student always knows where they are and what the next step will give them.

What a class includes

The online lesson runs via Zoom or Google Meet — at an agreed time, with no ties to an office or studio. The platform opens in a browser, with no extra software to install.

  • A video-format online lesson — Zoom or Google Meet, at a convenient agreed time.
  • Digital materials on the platform — exercises, texts, audio and glossaries in one place, available before and after the lesson.
  • Video lesson recordings — you can review what you missed or go back to a topic.
  • Homework — it matches the class topic; do it in full, otherwise progress will be uneven.
  • Feedback from the teacher — tasks are checked with comments that explain mistakes, not just flag them.

To see what it looks like from the inside, sign up for a trial class — it's free and comes with no obligation.

Who teaches and how the school matches a teacher to your goal

From 157 teachers, the school selects a specific person — for your level, goal and format. Among them are native speakers of English, German and Polish.

How a teacher is matched

The match begins with a conversation: the manager asks why you need the language — everyday communication, Cambridge ESOL or Goethe-Institut, business English, Polish before relocating. Based on this, a shortlist of teachers with the right experience and specialisation is drawn up.

Next comes a level assessment and meeting the teacher: you see how they explain and at what pace they run the lesson. If it's not a fit, they simply match you with another. That's common practice, not an exception.

The match takes into account

  • Your current and target CEFR level
  • Format: one-on-one, pair, group or blended
  • Your language goal: speaking practice, an exam, business language, relocation
  • Preferences for a native speaker or a practising methodologist

Frequently asked questions about AP Courses

Can I choose the format: online or offline?

AP Courses offers both online and offline learning. The advantage of the distance course is convenience — you can study from any device and place. Our innovative methods create a sense of the teacher's physical presence, so the difference between the two is minimal. The offline course lets you go through the programme with maximum thoroughness.

Can I study one-on-one, in a pair or in a group?

You can choose from three types of study: group, one-on-one and pair. With group study you get to work in a team of students at the same language level, which boosts motivation — it creates healthy competition. The advantage of one-on-one study is a programme personalised to your needs, plus a more detailed look at difficult points. Pair study is often chosen by children, spouses and friends who want to progress together. Choose the format that suits you and learn the way that's comfortable!

Do you have native speakers teaching?

Yes — in our English courses we actively involve native speakers who run lessons entirely in English. This type of class is the most challenging and effective. We work with native speakers so students get used to the pronunciation and have a live example of natural, not academic, speech. This approach works for higher levels. Importantly, teachers can switch to Ukrainian, so the student has a "safety cushion", whereas native speakers communicate solely in the foreign language and put the student in the stressful conditions needed for growth.

What does the trial lesson include?

The trial lesson at AP Courses is held so you can get to know the learning process and evaluate every aspect of our course. During the trial class, a student can: assess the group-study format, meet the teacher, learn about the other specialists and how the course will run, and determine their language level and the opportunities we offer.

Do you run speaking clubs, and how often?

We often organise interesting events, including a "speaking club". It brings together our students, guests, teachers and staff — everyone united by a desire to learn foreign languages — and at the speaking clubs we discuss current events, news hooks and topics chosen by vote. It's a great chance to have fun in good company. And on top of that, to learn a lot and boost your speaking skills. We publish detailed information about event dates and topics in advance on the company's social media.

What payment options are available for classes?

You can pay for the course by bank transfer. Instalment plans with smaller payments across the whole study period are also available, so for more details on payment it's best to contact your AP Courses manager.

What if I can't attend a lesson? Can it be rescheduled?

If you know in advance that you won't be able to attend a scheduled class, we recommend letting your manager know. A recording of the online lesson is always available. Common questions are saved on the platform, so students usually find most answers there; and when you need a detailed look at a specific question, you can write in your group's channel and tag the teacher — they're available throughout working hours. And if watching the recording raised more questions than answers, you can always book a one-on-one class to go through every unclear point in detail.

What are the refund terms if I stop the course?

We value every student and strive to provide quality teaching at AP Courses. A refund is possible provided you notify us in time, and it depends on the volume of services already delivered. In case of force majeure or an inability to continue for objective reasons (illness, relocation, etc.), we'll review the situation individually. If this happens to you, contact our service team — we'll look into your request in detail and propose possible solutions.
